If you feel like your hair is falling flat immediately after your blowdry, or feel like you simply cannot achieve the volume you would like, here are some tips to help you pump up the volume in your style:
Apply Kerastase Volumactive Mousse, or Mousse Nutri-Sculpt to towel-dried hair (about a golf ball size). Work it in at the roots with your fingertips until dissolved.
Next, lift the hair up, one inch section-by-section, and apply Volumactive spray starting at the root, from about six inches away. Finger-comb through the ends.
Begin your blow dry at the roots. You may either hold the hair up with your fingers or a small vent brush, or bend upside-down, but focus the airflow on the roots.
*if the roots are not dry before the ends, or before the style is completed,
they will automatically fall, no matter how many volumizing products are in
your hair.
Only begin to round brush once the roots are 100% dry. Direct the hair straight up with the round brush for more fullness.
*for extra hold, press the cold-shot button on your dryer and run the brush
through a final time.
