Bangs: Wondering if You should?

You should!

Bangs are such a hot trend, and you’re probably considering them, or already have them and want a change in style. While cutting bangs may feel like a long-term commitment, there are a few options or styles that allow you to enjoy some fringe without changing everything about your hairstyle.

If you have short hair, instead of a ‘sweepy’ bang that covers your whole forehead, opt for a shorter, pieced, layered bang that you can still push to either side. You will have less trouble with them falling in your face, and avoid the ‘head toss’ associated with heavier, long bangs.

For medium or long hair you can always add a narrow (meaning it doesn’t span from temple to temple), heavy or broken line. Both of these pictures show a narrower fringe, while one is a more solid line, and the other is softer with some texture. If you already have shorter hair, try it! If you have longer hair and want to change things up a little, try it!

So what’s holding you back? If you have longer hair and are concerned about the amount of time it will take to grow your bangs out, try something like Kate Moss. The bangs are narrow and sheer and are easily pushed to one side or the other, or split in the middle. Keep them a little longer and you can always change the bottom line by adding more texture.

If it’s still too much commitment for you, there are always extensions, both clip-in, or bonded that allow the freedom to choose. At Enizio we offer Racoon International hair extensions, introducing Clix, the Racoon International clip-in extensions. Ask your Enizio Artist about matching some Clix for your fringe, so you can enjoy the trend with no obligation.

So, if you’re wondering if you should try bangs; do it! They are a great way to add some novelty to your hairstyle and add attention to your gorgeous facial features.
